Award winning goats cheese

Stella

Joe
Stella Bennett has been making unpasteurised goats milk cheese at Highfields Farm Dairy in Staffordshire since 1987. The dairy, originally owned by Hugh Lillingston, is now a small, independent family enterprise run by Joe Bennett, Stella's son.
Innes Cheese comprises a range of hand crafted cheeses, made on the farm, which are ideal for the cheeseboard or for cooking and preparation of a wide range of savoury or sweet recipes. They are well known to gourmands of fine cheese who dine and shop at the most discerning retailers and restaurants. Innes cheese is on sale at retailers such as Fortnum & Mason, Harvey Nichols, La Fromagerie, Planet Organic, Sally Clarkes, and Randalls or Lidgate Butchers. Restaurants such as Rules or Anton Mosimann's 'The Belfry' also serve our cheeses.
Commitment to the highest standard of excellence is demonstrated by the many awards that Innes cheese has won. We were the first cheese producer to win Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards on two occasions, in 1994 and 2002.
Cookery writers and critics such as Annie Bell, Nigel Slater and Sarah Freeman have also endorsed the unusually light texture and subtle flavour of Innes cheese.
